A Winter Day to Remember

Winter at the Gathering Grounds brings its own kind of magic. For Aysia and Tyler’s wedding, our 100-acre estate was transformed into a peaceful, snow-covered backdrop that set the tone for a day full of beauty, joy, and memorable moments. The reception took place in the Waterfront Venue, where floor-to-ceiling windows showcased the stunning Iowa snow outside. Inside, an abundance of flowers and flickering candles created a soft and inviting atmosphere, complemented by shades of blue and gold.

Some of the most special moments were the first looks Aysia shared with her father and Tyler, quiet pauses that made the day even more memorable. The reception was filled with laughter and dancing, including a heartfelt in-law dance that brought family together in a truly meaningful way.

Reflecting on her experience, Aysia shared that if she could do anything differently, she would hire help with tear down. Her advice to future brides: having a day-of coordinator is key to keeping the day stress-free and enjoyable.
