Unfortunately, due to liability reasons and our liquor licenses , we do not allow outside liquor to be brought onto The Gathering Grounds venue. For food, we do require a license and insured caterer. Please note, the venue staff does not serve or touch any food.
Pets are included prior and during your ceremony. Yes, lodging can be extended based on availability. Please contact us in advance to arrange additional nights for your stay.
Rental Invoice: Final balance is due 6 months before your wedding day.
Lodging Invoice: 1 month before the wedding day.
Bar Invoice: Due the night of the event.
Yes, this will protect you from anything that happens on the grounds. Reach out if you have any additional questions. This is the only thing we require with the venue. It is under $100 though most insurance companies.
To reserve your date, we need a $1,000 deposit and a signed contract. That $1,000 deposit will go towards your end payment.
Daily Rental: You can rehearse/decorate the morning of the wedding day or come in throughout the week complementary to rehearse outside only. Please note, if you come in through out the week to rehearse, the venue will not be open but you can rehearse outside during approved hours.
Weekend Package: You have that Friday before the wedding day to rehearse, decorate and have rehearsal dinner.
The venue provides the tables and chairs for dinner for the guest to set up. The guest will bring in the rest.Yes, our lodging is available even if you're not hosting an event. It's a perfect retreat for a weekend getaway or family vacation.
Our staff focuses on venue management. If a day-of coordination is needed, you will need to hire one independently. We have great ones we can recommend to you!
Day of coordinator is here for the bride and groom. To move your tables at specific times, creating a timeline for your day and making sure you stay on time, helping with anything and everything the day of the event. The venue staff helps with the bar, adjust lights for dinner, dance and speeches, helping your vendors, keeping the building stocked and cleaned.
